Decisions

I realized that in the next 7-8ish years, I will have to decide on:

1. Graduate school
2. a. A lab mentor
    b. A lab mentor
    c. A lab mentor
3. Some new friends
    a. friend 1
    b. friend 2..... (this list could hopefully be long)
4. A thesis topic
5. A boyfriend
6. A medical specialty
7. A research specialization
8. What I will do with the rest of my life after I graduate

I can cross #1 off my list. I've gotten through part #2a by choosing at least a mentor for this summer.

In two weeks I can start on #3.

#5 and #8 might get a bit tricky. What am I talking about, the other numbers aren't that much easier.

Today I am on part #2a(sub 1). Figuring out a topic for #2a.

Note to self: Please try not to make too many stupid decisions.

What if I don't want to grow up? Is that an option too?

ooh, funny how I never wanted to grow up either ... I was never as excited about birthdays as other kids

and haha, your list amuses me although it in fact deals with very serious and practical matters

You can't be serious about number 5... I just wouldn't expect that to be consciously placed on a list of 'to do'. Whatever floats your boat!

That reminds me about a somewhat related link:

-By the way, I've gone from 'leaning towards' an MD/PhD to 'pretty certain'! That may not sound like a big deal... but it is!
